LGBT- Out and About
Created by Angela and members of ‘Out and About’ an older LGBT carer’s group. The wallpaper was made to help participants celebrate their own & loved ones lives through significant objects. It went on display at Hackney Museum for LGBT history month in February 2018 alongside ‘From Bedroom to Battleground’ a younger LGBT exhibition by Project Indigo.
From the pattern, as well as the wallpaper, we went on to create cushions, room dividers, scarves, kimonos, shorts and trousers. Every Purchase creates revenue that feeds back into these activities whilst promoting an under appreciated sector of society
