MOT- Men only time
Created by Angela and members of ‘The Men’s cabin’ an older men’s group in poplar. The wallpaper was made to help participants celebrate their lives through significant objects. Objects included - photos of families and friends, plants, favourite dishes, drink, freedom passes, employee passes… sudoku books!
From the pattern, as well as the wallpaper, we went on to create cushions, room dividers, scarves, kimonos, shorts, trousers, mugs and aprons . Every purchase creates revenue that feeds back into these activities whilst promoting an under appreciated sector of society
